The Trial of Old Drum A worldwide leader in feature films and television movies, PorchLight Entertainment produces and/or distributes over a dozen films each year and its library has grown to over 200 feature films in a relatively short time period. PorchLight's Acquisition division is extremely active in the independent film world. PorchLight acquires the distribution rights for both domestic and international markets and is known for its producer-friendly atmosphere.

Titles acquired by PorchLight include "Diary of a City Priest," an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and "Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season," a sequel to one of the most successful family films of all time, and "Changing Hearts," starring Faye Dunaway, Lauren Holly and Tom Skerritt.

In addition to the films acquired from independent producers, PorchLight's production division, PorchLight Family Films produces up to six high-concept family films per year. Recent productions include "The Trial of Old Drum," which premiered on Animal Planet; "Braniacs.com" airing on The Disney Channel; "Family Under Siege" starring Mel Harris, which premiered on Lifetime; "Treehouse Hostage," a comedy-adventure starring Jim Varney, which premiered on the Disney Channel; "Wild Grizzly," an action-adventure film starring Daniel Baldwin, Fred Dryer and Michelle Green, airing on Fox/ABC Family Channel; and, the family action-adventure "Night of the Twisters," starring Devon Sawaa, and John Schneider, which was one of the highest rated films on The Family Channel.
